Tall Ship Race

The Tall Ships Races are coming to Aalborg in 2026! The city will host the final race from 30 July to 2 August 2026, when the tall ships come to the harbour after a stop in Stavanger, creating a big party with over 700,000 visitors, music and culture.

The route: The final leg of the race goes from Stavanger (Norway) to Aalborg.

The entrance to The Tall Ships Races is a major event where the large sailing ships enter Aalborg. From Hals, which is close to Aalborg, you get a fantastic view of the impressive ships sailing past towards Aalborg and docking at the harbour. The ships create a great maritime celebration and attract many visitors to Aalborg.
The event: Aalborg will be filled with ships, activities, music and cultural experiences where you can experience the impressive sailing ships up close.
